Whataburger, now under construction at the southwest corner of Milton Wilson Blvd. and Airline Rd., will be opening its doors this spring in Arlington.
The opening date is slotted for the first or second week of May, according to a source who wishes to remain anonymous. The 3,751-square-foot corner building complete with drive-through is located to the east of The Falls Shopping Center, and will fit in aesthetically with brick, stacked stone and bronze-colored materials.
Growing from a small hamburger joint opened in 1950, to a fast-growing franchise spanning 14 states with more than 900 locations, Whataburger employs approximately 125-150 “Family Members” per site and has plans for further expansion in the Memphis metro this year.
Whataburger serves fresh, never frozen, burgers and more 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The All-Time Favorites menu includes the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger, the Whataburger Patty Melt and the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich. Breakfast is served 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., featuring fan favorites like Taquito with Cheese and Breakfast On A Bun. Limited-time selections such as the Dr. Pepper Shake and Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich are offered on a rotating basis for even more menu variety.
