A new woman-owned Asian bakery and café is set to bloom in downtown Memphis.

Bloom Bakery & Café is moving into the former 1,376-square-foot home of Flame Ramen at 61 S 2nd St, according to The Daily Memphian.

Owned by business partners Yu Liu and Mei Wei, the café will offer specialty coffee, matcha, tea, pastries, Chinese-style bread, and custom cakes, along with a selection of gluten-free options. Liu specializes in bread baking, while Wei crafts the cakes.

Bloom Bakery & Café is slated to debut in the coming weeks. Once doors open, it will serve its sweet treats Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
