The team behind local favorites Bog & Barley and Celtic Crossing is bringing a new concept to Collierville Town Square.
Brazen Restaurant Group will soon open Maeve’s Tavern, its third Irish restaurant, in the former Highlander Scottish Pub space at 78 N Main St.
According to a press release, Maeve’s Tavern will offer lunch and dinner service alongside a full bar, with an interior featuring furniture and decor sourced from Ireland. The 4,500-square-foot eatery will seat up to 150 guests inside and 30 on the outdoor patio.
Brazen Restaurant Group co-owner DJ Naylor, who named the tavern after his two eldest daughters, said that the new concept will strike “the middle ground between the refined sophistication of Bog and the casual coziness of Celtic.” He added, “We’ve always loved Collierville, and feel Main Street’s history and uniqueness is the best fit for our new concept.”
Reny Alfonso, co-owner and director of operations, brings a wealth of culinary experience from South Florida to New York City. He highlighted the menu’s focus on high-quality ingredients and seasonal fare, offering patrons a fresh take on Irish cuisine that goes beyond the typical staples.
“Our conversations around Maeve’s essence and ambiance inspired me to want to create a fresh, innovative menu,” he said. “Irish food is more complex than just fish and chips, and this will give guests the opportunity to experience that.”
Maeve’s Tavern is scheduled to open in late spring 2025.
