An upscale Tuscan and Sicilian restaurant in Downtown Memphis is set for a significant refresh.

Recent filings with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development reveal that Catherine & Mary’s, located on the ground floor of The Chisca apartment community at 272 S Main St, will soon undergo $175,000 in renovations.

The project will update the 5,942-square-foot restaurant with refreshed finishes and lighting, a redesigned lounge area, a new dry storage room, and a reconfiguration of the private dining room to merge with the main dining space.

Established in September 2016 by acclaimed local chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, Catherine & Mary’s embodies the duo’s signature style—combining Italian culinary philosophy, Southern ingredients, and the warmth of their grandmothers’ cooking.

Ticer and Hudman have not yet responded to What Now Memphis’ requests for comment, leaving closure details—as well as the timeline and duration of the renovations—unclear. Stay tuned for updates.
