Coffee Sensation Making its Way to Memphis

7 Brew will be taking over Checkers’ old Winchester Road home.

Coffee lovers know the importance of a great java spot. After all, nothing beats the caffeine rush of a good cup of coffee. A relative newcomer to the cafe scene has been quietly but consistently making a huge impact on coffee fanatics, and shows no signs of stopping. 7 Brew Coffee has filed paperwork for a new Memphis location, offering locals a fresh way to quench their thirst for a fresh cup of joe, reports Commercial Appeal.

A construction permit filed by franchisee Tim Heeren shows that the new coffee sensation will be moving into a 541 square foot space at 7938 Winchester Road. 7 Brew’s steaming cups of java will mark quite a departure for the location, which previously housed a Checkers. 

7 Brew will feature a drive-thru and pick-up window. The permit-filed on June 18 with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development-states that the coffee shop will have 6 parking spots alongside 1 ADA space.

An opening timeline is not presently available for 7 Brew’s Winchester Road storefront; What Now Memphis has made contact with Heeren and will update readers as more details become available.

7 Brew poured its first cup in Arkansas in 2017. The shop offers a wide menu with plenty of customization options to ensure visitors never get bored. Besides coffee drinks, guests can enjoy energy drinks, smoothies, lemonades, teas, and shakes. The website explains the 7 Brew difference, stating: “7 Brew is so much more than just a coffee stand. It’s the concept of cultivating kindness and joy with every drink – through our service, speed, quality, energy and atmosphere. It’s contagious and it’s changing the drive-thru coffee industry.”
