Locke’s Fish & Steak is getting a new name and new ownership at 700 E. Lee St. in Sardis.
Mike and Melinda Wilson, owners of Delta Steakhouse in Senatobia, have taken over the restaurant, now renamed Delta Surf & Turf.
Fellow owners Royce and Fran Locke are stepping down from Locke’s to enjoy retirement.
“We intend to emulate the approach employed by Mr. Royce and Mrs. Fran Locke in the past. While some adjustments may be necessary, we remain dedicated to maintaining the business’s customary operations,” the Wilsons said on Facebook.
The restaurant will continue serving steak and seafood, with new steak options and other additions to the menu. The Wilsons also plan to keep the buffet-style service.
For now, Delta Surf & Turf will follow Locke’s hours: Thursday from 4 to 8:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m.
“Just because the time states 9:00pm doesn’t mean we are not willing to stay as long as we have customers wanting to dine with us — Please stay tuned as the hours and days will be changing soon and we think you will be pleased!,” the post read.
