Owners Dana McCubbin, Rose Heckendorf and Wayland Rice expect to open Eggs Up Grill, located at 9155 Poplar Avenue, by June 1.

Germantown will welcome the fast-growing franchise this June into the Shops of Forest Hill. The 3,600-square-feet café will have indoor seating to accommodate 138 patrons, and will also offer online orders and curbside pick-up. It will provide approximately 25 jobs to the local community, serving early breakfasts with a smile.

From Virginia down to Florida, Memphis to the coast, the swiftly spreading morning sit-down is on its way to hatching 150 locations and was recently named the number-one breakfast franchise in Entrepreneur’s 44th annual Franchise 500. Originating in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, it has doubled in size in the last three years under the leadership of CEO Ricky Richardson.

New Eggs Up owners Dana McCubbin, Rose Heckendorf and Wayland Rice have never owned a restaurant, but their backgrounds in sales, marketing and accounting bolster their confidence, and the trio harbors hopes of opening more locations in the future.

“We chose Eggs Up Grill because the food is great and the company is dependable. We met Ricky Richardson and his staff in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and were blown away by the corporate passion for excellence and their dedication to their customers,” says Dana McCubbin.

From Big City Brunch to Breakfast Classics and Signature Omelets, Eggs Up has something for everyone. Customer favorites include Founder’s Hash Benedict, The Greek omelet, Turkey Avocado BLT, and Dana’s personal favorite, Praline Pecan Chicken Salad.
