There are certain things no city can have too much of; warmth, community, and-of course-dining options. While Memphis has no shortage of great restaurants to choose from, the local culinary scene can only benefit from welcoming new concepts. Fortunately, a brand-new eatery is on the horizon; Abraham Alhomadi has filed paperwork for Eat N Hob, a take-out focused restaurant.

Alhomadi is hoping to open the restaurant at 8071 East Shelby Drive. Eat N Hob is still in the relatively nascent stages, however the form submitted to the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development does provide a few salient details, including that Alhomadi intends the restaurant to function primarily as a takeout establishment.

Eat N Hob will be serving Mediterranean and American cuisine in its approximately 1,100 square foot home. Alhomadi states that he does not anticipate exceeding 15 visitors in the storefront at any given time and that all plates and cups will be disposable.

An opening timeline is not presently available-Alhomadi filed his paperwork in late August and the project will benefit from renovating an existing space instead of a ground up construction. What Now Memphis has reached out to Alhomadi and will update readers as information becomes available.
