A popular Memphis-area hospitality group is bringing diners a taste of the world. Tekila Restaurant Group is inviting future regulars to savor flavors from around the globe when it opens its next project, Fuego Vivo. Foodies who already feel their mouths watering, don’t worry; Tekila anticipates opening the restaurant’s doors before the year is out, reports Daily Memphian.

The distinctive concept will be serving up its eclectic fare at 5110 Poplar Avenue in the space that previously housed Carrabba’s Italian Grill. The paperwork filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development regarding the eatery states that the building will provide Fuego Vivo with 6,400 square feet of space to serve up to 230 customers.

While an official opening date is not yet available, Tekila believes it may be customer ready as soon as October of this year.

Memphis diners can look forward to a little theater with their meal. Fuego Vivo will feature an open kitchen where Italian, Mexican, American, and Argentinian dishes are prepared for hungry locals. The restaurant will be serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
