There are exciting changes on the horizon for a popular Memphis restaurant and the diners who love it. Good Fortune Co., beloved for its scratch-made Asian street food, will begin work on its expansion in 2026, reports local media outlet Daily Memphian.
Good Fortune Co. is currently serving customers at 361 South Main Street and will be expanding into the neighboring bays that formerly housed the Sauce Agency. Good Fortune Co.’s Co-owners and chefs Arturo Leighton and Sarah Cai have purchased the building and received the deed on October 16. Next up on the agenda? Renovation. Leighton and Cai will begin with the adjacent bay and once that is fully renovated the restaurant will migrate to the new space while the original location is given a makeover. Leighton explains: “We are renovating the first bay as well, which we’re currently in, so there might be a week or two weeks of disruption in service at some point.”
The completed project will provide Good Fortune Co. with more space to both serve customers and prepare its fare, which will, in turn, create new opportunities for the concept. The larger kitchen will allow the eatery to offer to-go and catering options, alongside lunch and wholesale noodle production.
Leighton is hopeful that the construction will be completed by the summer, with the caveat that it might run into autumn.
Good Fortune Co. has earned critical acclaim for its incredible ramen, garnering attention from no less than Guy Fieri. Every ingredient is prepared in-house, ensuring guests can enjoy an incredibly fresh and deeply authentic meal.
