An upscale restaurant and lounge in Downtown Memphis has temporarily closed for repairs and renovations.
IBIS Memphis (pronounced Iris) closed on July 11, 2024. Owners Jeremy and Matthew Thacker-Rhodes took to social media to announce the news:
“We’re taking some time to make things even better for you! Our doors are currently closed for repairs and renovations,” they said. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.”
The 314 S Main St venue opened in 2022, serving up creative cuisine at the downstairs restaurant and craft cocktails at the upstairs lounge. In addition to its inventive menu, IBIS hosts various themed pop-up parties for holidays and other special events.
