Memphis foodies, get ready for an exciting new dining experience that fuses two great cuisines in a stylish and memorable environment. Tulips Restaurant and Bar is blending the best elements of Indian and Mexican cuisine under one chic roof, and in doing so is creating what’s sure to become a neighborhood favorite when it opens in the not-too-distant future.

Tulips will be serving customers at 7825 Winchester Road, suite 122. A certificate of occupancy filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development shows that the restaurant will span 5,600 square feet and will have an occupant load of 188.

Tulips does not have a precise opening date available yet. The concept has steadily been applying for and acquiring permits-the latest of which is a commercial mechanical permit, issued on March 11.

Tulips is on deck to become an essential part of the Memphis dining scene and nightlife. The company’s Facebook page describes what’s in store for future regulars, saying: “Our upscale atmosphere, curated cocktails, live music, and elegant outdoor seating create the perfect setting for refined dining and vibrant nightlife.“
