Jack’s Family Restaurant, a concept that has been serving smiles and filling stomachs for over 65 years, is making its way to the Austin Peay Highway. The Southern comfort staple is continuing its long legacy of satisfying hungry customers at a new Memphis home, set to open later this year.

The beloved chain is opening its next Memphis location at 3385 Austin Peay Highway. A commercial new construction permit granted by the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development shows that Jack’s will have 3,274 square feet in which to greet and serve customers and the restaurant will have an occupant load of 75.

While these facts are relevant, they may not inspire the most excitement in future customers. Fortunately, Jack’s representative Jackson Stickrath very kindly made some time to fill What Now Memphis in on the more delicious details.

“Our Austin Peay Highway location allows Jack’s to expand its reach across Memphis, providing a convenient stop for guests heading downtown while also becoming an everyday gathering place in a neighborhood we’re proud to soon call home.” he states.

Jack’s Family Restaurant is no stranger to the greater Memphis area, and Stickrath explains that the company is enthusiastic about deepening its presence in the region. “We’ve felt such a warm welcome from the Memphis community since opening on Shelby Drive and in nearby areas like Millington and Olive Branch. We saw an opportunity to grow further north and provide even more convenient access to Jack’s Southern staples for guests throughout the city, no matter which direction they’re headed.”

The new Jack’s location will continue the brand’s long tradition of high-quality Southern cuisine. “This location will reflect the same Jack’s experience our guests know and love.” Stickrath says. ‘It continues our Southern Charm design, featuring a double drive-thru, round tables for gathering, a cozy fireplace and a biscuit-making viewing window where guests can watch our biscuits being made from scratch each day.”

Memphis residents can look forward to enjoying Jack’s biscuits, burgers, and milkshakes when it opens on Austin Peay Highway this summer.
