A new steakhouse is sizzling its way into the heart of Jonesborough.

Jackson’s Prime, founded by Troy Boane, will be located at 111 W. Main St. Boane, a U.S. Air Force veteran, has more than 38 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

“After building the award-winning Americano Steakhouse and Wine Bar into a beloved destination in Roan Mountain, Tennessee, Troy and his wife Lindsey, set to create something even more special–a premier steakhouse experience in the heart of East Tennessee,” the restaurant’s website reads.

Jackson’s Prime will offer a refined dining experience that blends elegance with the town’s historic charm. The interior will feature deep wood tones, leather booths and custom carpeting.

While the official menu has not yet been released, guests can expect fine cuts of prime beef, fresh seafood and locally sourced produce. Every dinner entrée will be served with fresh-baked yeast rolls and house-made cinnamon butter. The menu will include dinner offerings, early dining specials, a happy hour menu and a wine and cocktail list designed to complement each dish.

Jackson’s Prime is scheduled to open in summer 2025. Those interested in updates and opening events can follow the restaurant on Facebook.
