Jersey Mike’s Subs is continuing its growth in Arkansas with a new location set to open in Jonesboro.

The sub shop will be located at 3310 Southwest Drive in Southern Hills and will be operated by franchisee Landon Corkren.

“If you would have told me a few years ago that I was going to love making sandwiches for a living, I’d have said, ‘I do not think I will be making sandwiches for a living, thank you very much,’” Corkren said in an interview with Hinds Community College, where he earned his associate degree. “But you know, I found a company that fits my values. It’s all about family. Jersey Mike’s is that for me.”

Carroll Caldwell of Coldwell Banker told What Now Memphis that Corkren also has another Jersey Mike’s location under construction in Paragould at 2811 W. Kingshighway, Suite A-2.

As of December 2024, there are 14 Jersey Mike’s locations across Arkansas. With the additions in Paragould and a second Jonesboro store, that number is set to grow. The first Jonesboro location opened in June 2024 in the newly developed Wolf Creek Shopping Center.

Other Jersey Mike’s locations can be found in Bentonville, Rogers, Conway, Little Rock, Fayetteville, Cabot and Fort Smith.

While an official opening date hasn’t been announced, Caldwell said the new Jonesboro location is expected to open in about two and a half months, targeting mid-August.

The store will follow standard hours, open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
