A new location of one of Memphis’s top Chinese restaurants is getting ready to open its doors. Little Petals Chinese is nearing the finish line on its Collierville storefront, according to a social media post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The concept is bringing its Michelin Guide rated cuisine to 890 W Poplar Avenue. Though a precise opening date is not yet available, Collierville diners can look forward to sampling Little Petals’ delectable cuisine soon; the website states that the storefront is on deck to open in a month.

The eatery is also hiring for two positions at the location, a further positive indicator of Little Petals’ continued progress.

Little Petals Chinese is the sibling concept of the much-lauded Petals of a Peony. It has earned acclaim from both customers and critics thanks to its commitment to authenticity, flavor, and providing as genuine a Chinese dining experience as a foodie can hope to find. The website explains: “Our founder spent three years in Chengdu and fell in love with the city and the food. She brought to America everything she loved — the flavors, the feelings, the family-style restaurants — so that you can get a taste of Sichuan, too.”
