Oxford, Miss., is getting a new steakhouse.

Marshall Steakhouse is expanding with a second location, bringing its signature sizzling steaks to Oxford. The original restaurant is located at 2379 Highway 178 in West Holly Springs.

Owner Randall Swaney confirmed to What Now Memphis that the new location is in the works, though an exact address and opening date have not been announced.

The restaurant is known for its hamburgers and wide selection of steaks, including prime ground steak, top sirloin, filet, ribeye, New York strip, T-bone, porterhouse and tomahawk. The menu also features rack of lamb, roasted chicken breast, salmon, hand-breaded shrimp, fried oysters and scallops. Most dishes are cooked over one of the largest charcoal grills in the state, according to the restaurant’s website.

Marshall Steakhouse sources nearly all of its ingredients from local farmers.

Swaney opened the original location in 2016 after noticing the lack of steakhouses in north Mississippi. Since then, the restaurant has been named the No. 1 steakhouse in the state by the Food Network and the Mississippi Beef Council.

What Now Memphis has reached out to Swaney for additional details. This article may be updated.
