Shakespeare once asked “what’s in a name?” and while the answers certainly vary, sometimes a name tells you everything you need to know about a restaurant. Future customers can draw some pretty sure and accurate conclusions about I Love Pho, based solely on nomenclature-all of which are certain to inspire excitement that the concept has filed permits for a new location.

Paperwork filed submitted to the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development shows that I Love Pho is looking to bring its noodles and broth to 1710 Union Avenue. The restaurant will be moving into a renovated 2,341 square foot storefront. The submitted forms describe the work involved as “Implementing interior lighting, electric, ventilation, and plumbing designs.”

I Love Pho is not a stranger to Memphis. The concept, which focuses on the titular dish, has a location at 567 Perkins Extd. The restaurant’s new location is certain to win over even the pho-skeptics. The website explains what makes I Love Pho so special, saying: “We craft delicious dishes with the freshest ingredients, blending tradition and creativity. Our mission is to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy great food with friends and family. Every meal is prepared with care and passion, ensuring a delightful dining experience.”

Diners don’t need to be pho enthusiasts to enjoy the restaurant; the menu also offers fried rice, noodle plates, banh mis, and kebabs.
