A rapidly-expanding pizza chain is including Memphis in its ambitious plans for 2026. Marco’s Pizza is planning 80 locations for this year-and one of those will be opening in Memphis within the next month, reports Commercial Appeal.

The beloved pizzeria has been steadily accruing permits for its upcoming 7915 Winchester Road home. The storefront, helmed by franchisee Lee Smith, does not yet have an official opening date, however it is on deck to start greeting customers at some point in April-news certain to be music to area pizza lovers’ ears.

Marco’s currently has 11 locations in the greater Memphis area-two of which are in Memphis proper.

While Marco’s may still be relatively new to the Memphis dining scene, the pizzeria has been flipping pies for quite some time. The chain burst onto the scene in 1978 in Ohio, and has since spread to over 1,200 locations worldwide.

While Marco’s, of course, prioritizes pizzas, the concept’s menu also features pizzoli, pizza bowls, calzones, subs, wings, and salads.
