One of Memphis’s most celebrated taco tickets is continuing its 2025 hot streak. Taco-n-ganas has had a very busy year, and permitting documents show that the concept has no intentions of slowing down; the restaurant is working towards a commercial new construction permit for a Riverdale road storefront.

Paperwork filed for the taqueria shows that it will be hanging its shingle at 3686 Riverdale Road. The forms submitted to the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development offers some insight into Taco-n-ganas’s new storefront, describing the project as: “820 square foot building with kitchen, restrooms and walk-up restaurant service. Prefabricated canopy included as part of the structure Taco-n-ganas pre-fab building and canopy.”

The occupant load is listed as 3, and given the establishment’s qualification as offering “walk-up restaurant service”, it is clear that the Taco-n-ganas intends for the location to be primarily a grab and go eatery.

Memphis Mexican food fans are already familiar with the Taco-n-ganas brand. The concept has multiple food trucks spread across the region, serving up authentic and delicious fare. As the website states: “Taco-n-ganas is proud to serve Memphis with real-deal Mexican street food, made fresh and full of Ganas.”
