Farm Burger Memphis is flipping the script with new ownership, fresh menu updates and big plans to expand the offerings.
Now independently owned and women-led, the farm-to-table favorite is plating its next chapter under Sabine Langer and Hayley Garrison, serving up local flavor and community spirit at Crosstown Concourse.
“As a woman-owned, woman-led, independent restaurant, we want to make sure we are fully integrated with the community,” Langer told What Now Memphis. “It is important to us to economically empower our workforce and we want to establish relationships with local farmers.”
The duo has been unveiling new menu items while staying responsive to the tastes of the Memphis market. One standout, the Chicken Philly Sliders, quickly became a crowd favorite—prompting Langer and her team to make it a permanent addition.
“We are constantly working on improving our menu,” Langer said. “We recently have replaced the previous salads to salads that are fresh, delicious and more adapted to local tastes and we have added a tomato soup, which has been a hit. We’ll probably remove the soup during the summer and add something else. Memphians like good uncomplicated food, made with real ingredients.”
Calling all fry dippers—Farm Burger recently secured a liquor license and is now serving up boozy house-made milkshakes, with favorites like Piña Colada and Cookies & Cream.
Though Langer refers to herself as an “accidental restaurateur,” she said there are no plans to open new locations. Instead, the team is focused on expanding catering services, hosting community events and fostering employee empowerment.
Farm Burger is open for dine-in and takeout Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
