Olive Branch, grab the syrup, the most important meal of the day is getting a new all-day home. Waffle House, a Southern comfort food and breakfast titan, is opening a new location in the neighborhood-an event worthy of its own name-sake road, reports Commercial Appeal.
The impossibly popular restaurant, beloved for its unique atmosphere, delicious cuisine, and its 24-hour service cycle, will be opening on a newly constructed road, delightfully named “Waffle Way”. The upcoming location is not precise, however Waffle House is set to occupy a space near the southeast corner of Church and Pleasant Hill roads.
There is not presently a great deal of information about the restaurant’s new Olive Branch storefront; What Now Memphis has reached out to leadership for further detail and will update readers as particulars become available-including an exact address and an opening timeline.
Olive Branch locals already have a taste for Waffle House’s fare; the chain has two locations in the area, one on Enterprise Drive, the other on Hacks Cross Road. The brand has many locations in the greater Memphis-region, and a new storefront is certain to get stomachs rumbling.
Founded in Georgia in 1955, Waffle House has developed a large and ardent following.
