Orale Tacos & Bakery is preparing to expand its seating area at 2204 Whitten Rd, Suite 2. According to recently filed city permits, the restaurant plans to reopen an existing wall within the 1,200-square-foot space to accommodate more guests.
Owner Joel Perez has not responded to multiple requests for comment from What Now Memphis, so details on the timeline, number of additional seats, or potential closure remain unclear.
Orale debuted in early 2023, offering a variety of authentic Mexican dishes including tacos, tortas, burritos, and fajitas. The eatery also serves breakfast, pastries, cookies, and specialty cakes.
