Memphis’ Medical District is about to get sweeter.

The neighborhood will soon welcome a new Peach Cobbler Factory, owned by franchisees Otis and Janie Jackson.

Located at 632 Madison Ave., the shop will mark the dessert chain’s third Mid-South location, joining existing stores in East Memphis and Collierville.

“It’s an untapped area in the Medical District,” Jackson told What Now Memphis. “Within a one- or two-mile radius, we’ve got downtown, Midtown, and both the north and south sides of the Medical District that we can service with our product.”

The Peach Cobbler Factory offers a dessert-lover’s dream menu, with more than a dozen cobbler varieties, along with cobbler shakes, banana pudding, cobbler cookies, brownies, gourmet cinnamon rolls, churros and Belgian waffles.

Jackson said his favorite menu item changes weekly because it’s too challenging to pick just one.

The Medical District location is still under construction, but Jackson hopes to open before the start of the new year. He said the new store will be consistent with the chain’s other locations.
