The countdown is on for Mississippi chicken enthusiasts. Raising Cane’s, the undisputed champion of the fast-casual poultry market, has set an opening date for its Southaven location and it’s close enough to taste, reports local media outlet Memphis Commercial Appeal.

The unstoppable chicken chain will be opening at 357 Goodman Road early this summer. Local Caniacs should mark their calendars for June 10; the restaurant is officially opening its doors to the public on that date.

The Southaven Raising Cane’s is the first of three the brand is opening across the Memphis area between 2025 and 2026. Stores are also in development in Cordova, where an autumn debut is anticipated, and Hickory Hill, which does not yet have a projected opening timeline.

Launched in Louisiana in 1996, Raising Cane’s has taken the chicken scene by storm. The chain has flapped its way into diners’ hearts through its simple but delicious menu. Guests can choose between made-to-order chicken tenders or chicken sandwiches. Side selections include Texas Toast, crinkle cut fries, and coleslaw. However, it is the signature Cane’s sauce that truly keeps fans coming back for more.
