Let the good times roll as Rock N Roll Sushi is headed to Oxford.

The Americanized sushi chain is preparing to open a new location at 1801 Jackson Ave. in Oxford, Mississippi. It will be operated by franchisees Brad and Heather Jetton.

Known for its bold flavors and rock-themed branding, the restaurant’s menu is divided into sections like “Opening Acts,” “Classics,” “Green Room,” “Headliners,” “Kids Rock” and “After Party.” Guests can expect rolls like the Jailhouse Roll, Sweet Home Alabama Roll, Metalhead Roll and Sunset Strip Roll—many of which are fried or baked for an American twist.

The “Hibachi Back Stage” section offers entrees such as hibachi chicken, filet mignon and shrimp, served with soup or salad, fried rice, vegetables and the beloved yum yum sauce.

“Boasting concepts and flavors that are big, bold and loud, we’re the only place to experience the rock you love and the rolls you love with the ones you love,” the company says on its website.

An official opening date hasn’t been set, but the Oxford location is expected to debut in September or October 2025.

This isn’t the chain’s only stop near Memphis—a new Rock N Roll Sushi in Jonesboro is also scheduled to open in early June.

Founded in 2010 in Mobile, Alabama, by husband-and-wife duo Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark, Rock N Roll Sushi has grown to more than 75 locations across the Southeast and beyond. The brand plans to reach 100 locations by the end of 2025 and 250 within five years.
