A group of five area entrepreneurs are bringing Covington a taste of the hottest trend on the beverage market. Amber and Matt Nuccio, Nick and Nicole Spangenberg, and Bailey Brady are opening a new location of Sips Dirty Soda Shop in the area, reports Daily Memphian.
According to a social media post from Wooty’s Coffee Roastery, that business will be transitioning its 109 North Main Street storefront into Sips Dirty Soda’s new home. Renovations began on February 16. Necessary alterations include a full repainting, adding walls, and the relocation of a counter.
Wooty’s fans worried about losing their caffeine fix needn’t be concerned; Wooty’s has assured locals that once Sips opens it will still be serving coffee alongside the dirty sodas.
An opening date is not yet available, however Wooty’s will be providing updates on its Facebook page, for those eager for information.
Sips has one location open in Bartlett and plenty of exciting opportunities on the horizon. Co-owner Matt Nuccio explains: “That thing’s growing like wildfire. We’re definitely very surprised at how well the Bartlett and surrounding areas have taken to it.” The team behind Sips is also working towards a Millington location as well as its first franchise store in Atoka.
