Summer may be ending but a local entrepreneur is getting ready to bring Memphis a sweet treat, certain to take the burn out of the change of the seasons. Construction is underway on an area Stella’s Ice Cream, and it’s bringing a wide range of delicious frozen treats, guaranteed to make the region a little sweeter.

The ice cream parlor will be serving scoops for hungry customers at 2197 Central Avenue, in a 1,383 square foot storefront. Franchisee Jeff Schneider kindly set aside some time to confirm with What Now Memphis that Stella’s is wrapping construction on its area location, though unforeseen delays have made it impossible to commit to an opening date with any degree of certainty. What Now Memphis will be following Stella’s progress and keeping readers up to date, however locals should also follow along on the Stella’s Memphis Facebook page for all the news that’s fit to print, from flavors to timelines.

Stella’s served up its first scoop in Idaho in 2018. The ice creamery has made a name for itself through its distinctive and delicious flavors-the website explains: “Every flavor we make has a story, a spark, and a soul. We’re not here to play it safe—we’re here to surprise, delight, and push boundaries. Because at Stella’s, being different isn’t just accepted—it’s essential.”

Stella’s Memphis social media offers a glimpse at what lies in store for future regulars; the eatery will be highlighting ice creams like moonbeam, loaded brownie, and guava cheesecake-a wide range of exciting flavors certain to make the sweet shop an unmissable stop once it opens its doors.
