Memphis taco fans, get ready for your next great obsession. Taco Cabana, a Texas-based chain, has expansion on the mind and Memphis in its sights. The company is actively looking for franchisees and locations, reports the Memphis Business Journal.

Taco Cabana’s director of franchise sales and development John Ramsey has not revealed any specific areas within the region where Taco Cabana is hoping to open. He does state that ultimately the chain anticipates being able to place as many as 10 restaurants in the area.

Ramsey states that while Taco Cabana is open to the possibility of refurbishing existing buildings, the company often builds its restaurants-which generally span around 2,400 square feet- from the ground up. Future Memphis regulars can look forward to a fast-casual eatery that features a picturesque patio and a drive-thru for visitors on the move.

Taco Cabana’s menu features a wide range of both traditional and less conventional Mexican offerings. Ramsey describes the fare, saying: “Taco Cabana uses traditional Mexican-inspired recipes, and we filled a niche where we have a full variety of Mexican food, everything from fajitas to bean and cheese tacos to breakfast tacos.”
