Philosophers have long warned of the dangers inherent in too much of a good thing, but foodies know there’s no such thing. It is exciting news, then, for Memphis taco enthusiasts that Taco-N-Ganas, named the best tacos in Memphis, has filed paperwork for a new location on Whitten Road.
Paperwork filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development shows that the Mexican eatery is hoping to set up its next home at 2130 Whitten Road. Very little information is presently available about the proposed location. The Taco-N-Ganas website currently lists the location simply as “coming soon”. What Now Memphis has reached out to owner Greg Diaz for further information.
Taco-N-Ganas has proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the Memphis food scene. The concept has 8 locations-many of which are food trucks-spread across the region. The taqueria features an extensive menu of authentic favorites including-of course-tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and even birria pizza. Food is made fresh to order and has quickly won over a massive fan-following.
