TCB Highpoint Sips & Stems will soon live up to the full potential of its name.

Owner Anna Katherine Colomb this week was issued the necessary permits from the city to buildout the “sip” portion of the retail store which promises a French café. TCB’s “stem” bit, a Parisian-inspired flower shop, is already open and operating.

Now with the necessary paperwork, construction can get underway, and Colomb anticipates a fall 2023, according to the retail store’s answering machine.

The floral and café duo will be located at their current 473 High Point Terrace — plans in the making since at least 2021.

Colomb, the shop’s owner, did not provide comment on the new project, though permit findings have provided information on the addition.

TCB Co. prides themselves in being the first and only green florist in Memphis. Their instagram and website provide updates on the cafe-side of the shop.

TCB Co. currently offers floral arrangements for weddings, pre-made bouquets and custom arrangements.
