Founded in the year 2000, Bakery 2000 has been preparing fresh bread, cakes, confectionery, and more ever since. Having expanded to a total of two locations, in Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach, the bakery chain is now planning to open a third, this time in Coconut Creek.

“We innovate to grow, we strive for excellence in the creation of our products and service to our customers, we manufacture and offer the most diverse types of products,” reads the About Us page on the brand’s website.

What Now confirmed the news of a Coconut Creek location with founder and owner Edvaldo Leão on Tuesday. Leão said Bakery 2000’s third location will seat 40-50 people and will offer the same menu centering fresh-baked bread and other baked goods.

Bakery 2000’s menu features bread offerings like Pão Francés, Sweet Bread with Cream, and Brazilian bread, along with a snack bar boasting savories like the Yucca Croquette and the Empada de Frango. Other savory offerings have included French Bread with Eggs & Bacon and sandwiches served with fries.

Situated not far east of the intersection between Lyons Road and Hillsboro Boulevard, the new Bakery 2000 location will open next door to Aslan Bazaar, at 4420 W Hillsboro Blvd Suite 101. Across the street is the Marketplace at Hillsboro, a shopping center home to eateries like World of Brigadeiro, The BBQ Boutique, and La Brasa Grill Hillsboro.
