A new cafe and restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Fort Lauderdale. Recently submitted plan review paperwork shows Baraffee Cafe opening at 815 NE 13th Street, not far east of the intersection with Northeast Seventh Avenue.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with owner Piter Botta on Wednesday. Botta declined to comment further on the project immediately.

This leaves us wondering for the moment about the Baraffee Cafe menu, its opening date, and its overall brand profile.

Opening in the Northeast 13th Street location, Baraffee Cafe will join a restaurant community that includes Leaves & Roots Lounge Kava Bar & Vegan Cafe, Milk Money Bar & Kitchen, LeBoy, and Gulf Stream Brewery & Pizzeria.

What Now is awaiting more details on Baraffee Cafe, so stay tuned for updates on this new concept coming to Fort Lauderdale’s Middle River Terrace neighborhood.
