Beer Church Brewing Co. plans to open its first Florida location at 135 Duval St. in Key West, according to a filing with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
The company is targeting a winter 2026 opening. The brewery and pizzeria will be located across from Sloppy Joe’s, near the intersection of Duval and Greene streets. An exact opening date has not been announced.
Plans for Beer Church Key West include rooftop dining overlooking the intersection, cocktails, and large indoor TV walls. The company expects to serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner from 8 a.m. to midnight every day of the year.
The new location will expand Beer Church beyond its original brewery and pizzeria in New Buffalo, Michigan. That restaurant occupies a restored Civil War-era church and opened in 2017.
Beer Church specializes in small-batch beer and Neapolitan pizza. The company makes its pizza dough fresh, ferments it, and then stretches and bakes it in wood-fired ovens.
The current New Buffalo menu also includes wings, sandwiches, salads, small plates, and brunch dishes. Beer brewed at the Michigan location is poured on-site and sold for takeaway in crowlers, four-packs, and bottles.
