Right on the heels of opening its first Miami-area location in Coconut Grove, Black Sheep Coffee has major plans for South Florida.

The international coffee brand has just announced it will open several additional stores in the region, including Doral and Miami Beach. The next location is slated to open at 10800 NW 41st Street in Doral. All of the planned Black Sheep Coffee shops should be completed by the end of 2027.  The proposed expansion of the brand also includes the addition of several locations in Texas.  The shops will be a mix of in-line, end-cap, and drive-thru locations — each tailored to the specific needs of the neighborhood.

In a statement, co-founder of Black Sheep Coffee Eirik Holth said, “Miami is one of the most exciting cities in the world right now. It’s fast-moving, creative, and full of people who are open to trying something new, which is exactly what Black Sheep is about.”

Holth is certainly bullish on Miami. Both he and his fellow Black Sheep Coffee co-founder Gabriel Shohet moved to Miami from the U.K. in order to further the company’s success in the U.S. “Gabe and I live here, so building the brand in a city we’re part of makes it even more meaningful. The energy, the diversity, the pace of growth, it all aligns perfectly with how we think about coffee and community, and we’re just getting started.”

Holth and Shohet launched Black Sheep Coffee in 2013, building a following by offering coffee made with Robusta beans that provide bold flavor and a smooth finish. Today, there are more than 140 locations globally.
