Bondi Sushi is expanding its South Florida footprint with a new location coming to 358 San Lorenzo Ave., Coral Gables, FL 33146, bringing its modern Japanese dining concept to the heart of Coral Gables. The restaurant will join the growing lineup of dining destinations near Miracle Mile, although an opening date has not yet been announced.

Founded by restaurateurs Adam Carty and Jason Hess, Bondi Sushi has quickly grown into one of South Florida’s emerging sushi brands. The Coral Gables restaurant will become the company’s sixth location, joining restaurants in Brickell, Midtown Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale and New York City’s Bryant Park.

Bondi Sushi is known for blending high-quality sushi with an approachable, energetic atmosphere. Rather than focusing solely on traditional sushi, the menu features creative hand rolls, fresh nigiri, sashimi and signature crispy rice, along with inventive small plates. Popular menu items include Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Yellowtail Scallion Hand Rolls, Creamy Rock Shrimp, Chicken Karaage, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Miso Black Cod and customizable sushi boxes for takeout.

The Coral Gables location continues Bondi Sushi’s steady expansion across South Florida as demand for contemporary Japanese dining continues to grow. Once open, the restaurant is expected to offer lunch, dinner and takeout, giving Coral Gables diners another destination for fresh sushi, inventive Japanese-inspired dishes and a lively dining experience.
