C.R. Chicks, the Florida-born rotisserie chicken restaurant, is expanding.
C.R. Chicks Wedgewood, LLC recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a restaurant at 3316 SE Federal Highway, Suite A in Stuart. The C.R. Chicks website confirms the fact, adding that the location is in the Wedgewood Commons Shopping Center, near Publix and Harbor Freight. No official opening date has been announced.
This news comes on the heels of C.R. Chicks announcing it would open a Boynton Beach location back in January. That restaurant is expected to open Fall 2026.
C.R. Chicks was founded in 1992 by Rick Davis and Chris Sallen, with a group of investors led byJonathan Luther, Jon Luther, Sr., and Dan Bowers taking over the operation in 2024, with Sallen retaining an advisory position.
The restaurant is known for its fresh rotisserie chicken, seasoned with lemon pepper and basted in house marinade and sea salt. The chickens are prepared to order and roasted over Brazilian oak logs. In addition to rotisserie chicken, C.R. Chicks sells sandwiches, pastas, and chicken pot pies.
