The Cove Shopping Center looks to be the future home of the first brick-and-mortar from crepe-on-a-stick brand Crepstick. The brand has filed a plan review for a location at 1600 SE Third Court.

What Now reached out to Chef Diogo Cunha on Tuesday. Cunha confirmed news of the Crepstick store’s existence but declined to comment further at this time. The store’s projected opening date is unknown.

“Crepstick was born in early 2020, when Chef Diogo Cunha and Jeny Petit decided to bring to South Florida a Brazilian gastronomic tradition known as the Swiss crepe,” reads the brand’s About page.

The couple started the Crepstick brand as a food truck and their effort is now culminating in Crepstick’s first brick-and-mortar, where they will offer Sweet Menu favorites like the Kit Kat crepe and the White Chocolate crepe, along with salty varieties like Margherita, Guava & Cheese, and Provolone with Oregano.

“Crepstick’s secret is a delicious dough filled with different sweet or savory ingredients, perfectly adapted to the divers palates of Miami,” the website continues. “Crepstick is a new way to eat crepes.”
