The intersection of North 68th Avenue and Stirling Road will soon be home to the first Florida outpost of international tea brand CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice. A plan review was recently submitted for a restaurant by that name at 6858 Stirling Road.

What Now spoke to a local representative of the brand on Tuesday. The representative said the Coco Fresh Tea & Juice location could be expected to open early next year, declining to comment further on the news.

“CoCo is founded in 1997 by Chairman, Tommy Hung,” reads the Our Story page on coco-tea.com. “In a world where culture blends with tea, CoCo found its core mission, ‘Consistency and Continuity’, to bring the highest quality of tea with unmatchable services to its customers, and began its journey in building the world’s biggest bubble tea empire.”

The brand has more than 5000 locations worldwide, including in U.S. cities like New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Boston, plus many more elsewhere, in countries including Canada, Japan, Thailand, Spain, Mauritius, and New Zealand.
