Peruvian bake shop Lima Bakery is preparing to launch a brick-and-mortar location in Doral. According to submitted plan review paperwork, confirmed by the brand’s Instagram page, Lima Bakery is “coming soon” to 8700 NW 36th Street, Suite 105.

“We are a Miami based Peruvian bake shop,” says the Lima Bakery website. “We pride ourselves in delivering the most exquisite desserts in all of Miami. Lima Bakery is founded by Elena Burga, with over 30 years of experience in desserts. We offer a broad range of Peruvian flavors.”

Confections currently viewable on the brand’s website include the apricot and coconut-based Albaricocada, Lucuma Cheesecake with Chocolate Mousse, the brand’s beloved Pavlova, and other choices.

Opening on the southeast corner of the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 87th Avenue, Lima Bakery will join a food and drink community that includes Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, First Watch, Just Salad, and Jersey Mike’s Subs.

What Now reached out to founder Elena Burga on Friday to inquire about plans for the Doral opening. Burga was not immediately available for comment.
