One of Spain’s most celebrated culinary institutions is expanding its South Florida presence with a new location.

San Ginés Espanola, LLC recently filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a San Ginés location at 436 Española Way in Miami Beach. San Ginés Española will bring the flavors and traditions of Madrid’s legendary Chocolatería San Ginés to the historic pedestrian street, marking the brand’s second Florida location and adding another authentic European dining experience to one of Miami Beach’s most charming destinations. An exact timeline has not been announced.

Founded in 1894 near Madrid’s Puerta del Sol, Chocolatería San Ginés has spent more than 130 years serving its world-famous chocolate con churros, becoming a must-visit destination for locals, tourists and celebrities alike. Today, the iconic brand has expanded to eight cities worldwide, with locations in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, the Philippines and the United States. The new Española Way café joins the company’s existing Miami Beach location at 1668 Collins Avenue.

The café will serve San Ginés’ signature churros paired with rich Spanish hot chocolate, along with coffee, pastries and traditional café offerings inspired by the original Madrid location. Its arrival further enhances Española Way’s reputation as one of South Florida’s premier destinations for authentic international cuisine and European-inspired dining.
