Something restaurant-related and Italian-sounding is happening near Collins Park. A recent plan review for a restaurant project called “Santangelo’s” was submitted for an address near Collins Park Hotel in Miami Beach by Collins Park Hotel LLC. Behind the LLC are Shawn Vardi and Mark Shemel, CEO and Founder & Co-President, respectively, of Think Hospitality Group.

Think Hospitality is a growing real estate development and hospitality company. Described on its website’s About page as a company “about creating a community within the heart of the arts district for locals and tourists alike by providing multiple food & beverage outlets and beautiful rooms only 1 block from the beach,” Think Hospitality owns and manages hotels like The Plymouth South Beach and Boulan South Beach.

Think Hospitality is also behind restaurants like New American restaurant and brunch brunch spot Orange Blossom, Limonada Bar + Brunch, and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill.

What Now reached out to Shawn Vardi on Thursday. Vardi declined to comment. No details about the concept Santangelo’s is available just yet, so check back soon for more details.
