Miami Beach’s Atlantic Heights neighborhood is getting a Häagen-Dazs scoop shop! Plan review documents submitted by HD Ice Cream of Miami Beach, Inc. show a new Häagen-Dazs opening at 6978 Collins Ave.

A household name for its globally recognizable brand, to say nothing of its universally loved ice cream, Häagen-Dazs has more than 900 shops worldwide.

“60 years ago, two Polish immigrants from the Bronx decided to create a new luxury in ice cream. They invented a recipe, dreamed up a name and made it happen,” says the Häagen-Dazs website. “Using only the finest ingredients, their rich, velvety ice cream created a category all its own. With three simple flavors—vanilla, chocolate, and coffee—and playful made-up name, the Häagen-Dazs brand and a new kind of luxury was born.”

Häagen-Dazs offers a wide variety of flavors, including Salted Brown Butter Cookie, Bourbon Praline Pecan, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and many, many more.

Opening in the Collins Avenue location, Häagen-Dazs will join a food and beverage community that includes restaurants like Buenos Aires Bakery & Cafe, New Campo Argentino Steakhouse, Fifi’s on the Beach Seafood Restaurant, and IHOP.
