According to owner Lancelot James, Lakes Seafood is planned for the area. Still early in the pre-opening stages, James did not have an opening date to release. However, he shared with What Now during a phone conversation on Monday that they are set to begin applying for permits for renovations in a month or so.

We can expect to find this new concept at 4320-22 N SR 7, Lauderdale Lakes. While we wait for Lakes Seafood to open, we can still enjoy the other eateries it will neighbor: Tortuga Bar and Grill, Maxin Oriental Bakery and MOV Fusion Bar and Grill.

James did not share if the concept would be full-service, fast-casual or quick-service.

Other details about the concept and its cuisine are still unknown, as James had little information to offer. He mentioned that they are still ironing out the details and will be releasing information in the future.
