A new restaurant concept in the city is being kept relatively under wraps.
From a recent site plan application, Tulum Mexican and American Cuisine is coming to Boca Raton at 1580 NW 2nd Avenue, Suite 10. This comes from the owner of the Southeast Florida-based Food Madness food truck. Right now, no opening date has been revealed.
Food Madness has operated as a vendor in areas such as Parkland to serve Mexican dishes. The menu for this new location is expected to be cuisine from the country along with flavors from the southeastern region of Florida. When contacted, listed owner Marjorie Tinoco was not available for comment.
“Tulum Grill combines casual ambiance with upscale Mexican-American cuisine. Mexican flavors like you’ve never tasted before,” says the description on their Instagram page.
Pepe’s Cantina Lighthouse is planned for the plaza near the intersection of NW 16th Street. Other concepts in this plaza include Chick ‘n Chop on the Grill and a Domino’s Pizza. Florida Atlantic University is just west of the storefront.
What Now Miami has covered another project from Food Madness planned for 621 NW 53rd Street, north of the current proposed location. More updates on the concept can be found on the business’ Instagram and website.
