The retail and restaurant community near the intersection of Campbell Drive and Southwest 147th Avenue in Homestead will soon welcome a new poke restaurant into the mix. Poke 1800 will open at 3324 NE 8th St.

What Now confirmed the news with a representative of the restaurant on Monday. The representative said Poke 1800 is expected to open in the summertime, declining to comment further on news of the restaurant’s opening.

Details on Poke 1800’s menu are not yet available except in the most general sense: expect to find raw fish, fresh and diced with a variety of toppings. In the meantime, we’ll have to stay tuned for more information about Poke 1800’s particular approach to this ever-more-popular Hawaiian dish.

The Northeast Eighth Street location will share a building with Vicky Bakery’s Homestead location. Other nearby eateries include DQ Grill and Chill and, just south, Hong Kong Chinese.

Stand by for more details on this upcoming poke concept, and keep an eye out, Homestead!
