According to co-owner Jorgie Ramos, Vice City Pizza is about to set its roots in Miami. The concept has operated as a pop-up under the leadership of Chef Carlos Estarita, who has been trained across the globe in Miami, London and Peru.

Estarita and Ramos began serving food out of one of their garages, but eventually went on to establish a pop-up location at 8860 SW 72nd PL. However, come May, the restaurateurs hope to be permanently located at 2615 SW 147 Avenue, in the Plaza Alegre shopping center. They will be revamping the space left by Nonna Pizzeria.

The team behind Vice City Pizza seek to bring a variety of Miami culinary influences to their food. According to the website, “[Vice City Pizza] started as a passion project during lockdown, the recipes are a unique reflection of Miami’s diverse culinary landscape.”

According to Ramos, they expect to officially sign the lease as soon as today. Then they will have to permit and begin construction with the goal of opening in May.
