A new food truck that puts potatoes front and center is coming to Palm Beach County.

Mr. Tophat’s Tasty Taters serves spuds in a variety of forms, like baked potatoes, mashed potatoes and loaded fries. In addition to signature creations, there are customizable options; just pick your base, protein and toppings.

The menu also includes appetizers and sides like tater skin chips, potato salad and handmade tots, as well as potato-forward desserts, such as a sweet potato coconut ice cream bar, for those with a sweet tooth.

Brian Stone, who owns the business with his wife Kat, told What Now Miami they are currently seeking venues and events to debut the truck. Their son, Drake Stone, is the chef de cuisine.

He said their focus is to create high-value dishes with high-quality ingredients.

Stone recommends customers try the Sloppy Po, a mashed potato bowl topped with sloppy joe meat, chopped onion, diced dill pickles, shredded cheddar and a drizzle of yellow mustard.

“A huge amount of people have tested it and loved it,” he said.
