Dania Beach’s outdoor retail development and entertainment spot Dania Pointe was in the news recently following the addition of family-owned restaurant Sirocco Mediterranean and fast-fashion outlet H&M to its restaurant and retail roster. But it looks like Dania Pointe will be staying in the news on the restaurant front in these coming months.

Later this year, the retail center’s restaurant community, which includes brands like Pura Vida and Cooper’s Hawk Winery, will be joined by a new restaurant from restaurateur Cesar Olivo, called The Purple Oak.

“We’re opening in the last quarter of 2025,” Olivo told What Now on Wednesday. “It’s going to be a global cuisine restaurant, with food from many different countries.”

A post on the Dania Pointe website provides some more insight into the Purple Oak:

“The Purple Oak restaurant, where an outstanding artisanal kitchen meets a rebellious spirit. Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with the rich aromas of our meticulously crafted dishes. Our chefs take pride in creating unique, artisanal meals that challenge the ordinary and celebrate the extraordinary. Join us for an unforgettable dining experience that defies convention and delights the senses.”
