Tu Sushi 305 is a local brand offering “Authentic Japanese sushi in Miami Florida, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and delivered to your door.” Thus far, the brand has specialized in delivery and catering services; but until now, Tu Sushi 305’s flavors, which come from the culinary imagination of owner and chef Angel Mendoza, have not yet been available in a brick-and-mortar restaurant setting.
That’s about to change.
Plan review paperwork was recently submitted by Tu Sushi 305 Corp for a Tu Sushi 305 restaurant, opening at 3792 W 12th Ave in Hialeah. What Now reached out to Mendoza to ask the obvious question: is this a brick-and-mortar location? Mendoza was not immediately available to discuss the restaurant in detail, but the chef did say the magic word: “Yes.”
Excellent!
The Tu Sushi 305 menu features sushi rolls named in honor of South Florida locals. There’s the Biscayne (Breaded crab, avocado, salmon, cream cheese, topped with avocado and topped with vegetable tartar tempered with sweet chili sauce), the Dixie Highway (Breaded shrimp, crab, avocado topped with tuna, avocado sauce, truffle and yellow pepper and yuca chips), the Hollywood (Salmon, tuna, avocado, cream cheese with a special mixed tartar top), and many more.
Details on how that menu will translate into Sushi 305’s brick-and-mortar restaurant are not yet available.
“At Tu Sushi 305, we’re passionate about bringing you the best sushi experience in Miami,” says the Tu Sushi 305 website. “We use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, and our chefs are experts in their craft.
